MYSTERY ITEM: Aluminum Foil

Today, I left out a box of aluminum foil. None of the kids found it & when I pulled it out for them only a couple even seemed to know what it was for. A said “You wrap up leftover potatoes with it”. They sure had no problem coming up with uses for it though…Inside the daycare they used it in the dramatic play center, made sculptures with it. I asked if we could do anything with it if we took it outside & D2, says “We can use it to pick up dog poop”. We did not use it for that purpose, but they did still come up with a few ways to use it outside…
