INVOLVING CHILDREN IN COMMUNITY PROJECTS-Baby Treats for the Babies at Young Parents Network

BABY TREATS FOR THE BABIES AT YOUNG PARENTS NETWORK

For one of our community projects, I had the kids make homemade baby teething biscuits for the babies at one of the non-profit organizations I volunteer for (http://youngparentsnetwork.org/). We included recipe cards in the bags of treats so the moms could learn how to make treats for their babies too.

-Science (solids vs liquids and how different things turn into another, cause & effect)
-Physical (stirring, using cookie cutters)
-Counting (counting the ingredients, counting the biscuits we made)
